Hallberg-Rassy 57, MALINCO is a state-of-the-art bluewater cruiser that combines the yard’s renowned tradition of safety, seaworthiness and comfort with the very latest in yacht design. Designed by Germán Frers, she offers fast, effortless, and comfortable sailing, conceived for safe and easy handling by a small crew. Her sail plan is powerful and versatile, including mainsail, genoa, removable cutter jib, furling system, Code 0 and a Blue Water Runner. The rig consists of a white-painted carbon mast and carbon boom, reducing weight aloft, improving stability and performance. All furling systems are hydraulic and every winch is electrically operated, ensuring easy, reliable and efficient sail handling under all conditions. On deck, MALINCO presents a clean, uncluttered layout with flush hatches and a sun deck including a bimini above the aft cabin. The deck, cockpit and the push-button-operated fold-down bathing platform are laid with teak. Storage space is enormous: the lockers hold a total of around 10,000 litres, including a large sail locker forward, anchor locker, cockpit storage and several aft lockers. Twin steering wheels and twin rudders provide excellent control. Bow and stern thrusters make manoeuvring in tight harbours effortless. The yacht is also equipped with a Dockmate docking system, allowing you to move freely on board and to control docking manoeuvres directly from the bow, stern, or alongside. Below deck, the interior is finished in light European oak, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The saloon features an L-shaped sofa and two comfortable armchairs upholstered in light Alcantara. There is a UHD TV in the aft cabin and a retractable UHD TV in the saloon. MALINCO offers three cabins, all with double berths and sprung mattresses for maximum comfort at sea. All cabins and the saloon are air-conditioned with three independently controlled units. The galley is fully equipped for extended cruising, with a Miele induction stove, extractor hood, three top-loading fridge/freezers and an additional front-opening refrigerator. A washer-dryer is located in the aft head and both heads feature electric towel warmers. A watermaker adds further independence for long voyages. Her technical systems are equally impressive. MALINCO is powered by a Volvo Penta D4-175 hp engine with AquaDrive shaft coupling. Two independent autopilots provide maximum safety. Power is supplied by lithium batteries, ensuring both reliability and efficient charging. Navigation and communication are handled via a complete Raymarine system. In addition, Starlink and a TracVision satellite TV system provide safety and comfort on ocean crossings. MALINCO was newly delivered in May 2022 and has since been sailed by her (first) owners on cruises in the Baltic and in 2025, to the Mediterranean. She is currently lying in Italy.
