Alwyn Enoe, Custom Built, Carriacou Sloop 42 for sale. Alwyn Enoe is one of the last boatbuilders practicing a trade passed down the generations from Scottish settlers that arrived in Carriacou in the 18th century. Exodus was the last ship built by Alwyn Enoe and was immortalised in the Alexis Andrews film "Vanishing Sail." She has had 2 owners since built in 2013. The current owners have cared for her since 2016 and transformed her from her original "empty shell" interior, into a yacht you can comfortably stay onboard for as long as you like! Therefore, whilst Exodus is a seasoned racer in the workboat class, she stands out from the rest for three key reasons: The rig has been modified for easy two-person operation. The vessel has been reinforced and strengthened enhancing safety. The custom interior provides superior comfort for cruising and extended stays, unlike most West Indies sloops, which retain open interiors. Only one other vessel, Beauty, offers a similar level of accommodation, but is significantly slower in races. Exodus has been looked after on a daily basis in Bequia by local shipwrights and hauled out once a year mostly in Carriacou.
