2008 Elan Impression 344

The 2008 Elan Impression 344 is a spacious and comfortable 3 cabin family cruiser with Category A rating for extended passage making. Brought to Windermere in 2021, when a number of upgrades where made including new standing rigging, saildrive seals, canvass work, new plotter and diesel cabin heating. Well equipped and presented in above average condition. GRP construction with fin keel (1.60m draft), single spade rudder with wheel steering. Currently stored ashore each winter. Powered by a Volvo Penta D1-30 27hp inboard diesel last serviced 2025 with 410 engine hours logged. Saildrive unit with 2 bladed fixed propeller and seals changed in 2021. Fractional rig with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless wire standing rigging - renewed in 2021. Mainsail with Lazy Jack bag and roller furling Genoa. Both sails are by Victory, are original and described as being in "Good condition". The spacious interior is extensively finished in wood giving a warm and homely feel. The 3 double cabin layout is family friendly and there are additional berths in the saloon with a convertible double to port and single settee berth to starboard. Navigation station to starboard with electronics panel, VHF and speed / depth / log repeater. Galley to port with gimbaled twin burner alcohol hob, (original gas oven and hob will be supplied as well) twin sinks with pressurised hot and cold water, top loading fridge / freezer and storage. The heads compartment has a sea toilet with holding tank, shower, hand basin. Webasto diesel cabin heating fitted in 2021.The cockpit benefits from a boom tent and dodgers which give a good degree of cover and a set of cushions.
