The Azzurro is a truly special boat, not only because of its distinctive colour and aesthetics, but also because of its configuration. Hanse configured a few units of the 531 with a larger rig, which is offset by a larger keel. This configuration makes the Azzurro a truly stable, ocean-going boat that provides tremendous comfort and safety with easy manoeuvrability. It has also been rigged for solo sailing with a furling mainsail, self-tacking jib and asymmetrical sails with a storage system. Last antifouling in March 2025. Large aft garage with folding platform with hydraulic system and remote control. Retractable bow winch for manoeuvring assistance. Safety equipment: Life raft, life jackets, radio beacon, flares, lifebuoy, lifelines (1 on each side). 4 cabins (the two forward cabins have been joined to create one large cabin. They can be easily separated again by installing a bulkhead, restoring two independent forward cabins). 4 toilets (2 electric, 1 manual, 1 fresh water), showers.
