The Ovni 455 is an aluminium lift keel yacht built for serious offshore cruising. They are a very safe and comfortable boat with the ability to take the ground. Ruby II was built to the highest specification with €100,000 worth of optional extras when new. Equipped for long-term cruising with high quality equipment, she is ready to go. With only two previous owners, Ruby II was purchased by her current owner in 2008 and been sailed from the UK to Turkey via Venice and all over the Mediterranean, returning to the UK in 2023. As with all Ovnis there is some bubbling/loss of the paintwork which will require re-painting at some point. Sleeping mattresses in the three double cabins are by Victoria Yachting with Victoria Flex under slats. Saloon cushions are blue Alcantara. Blue curtains. Two Webasto AirTop 3500 diesel fired heater units. LED cabin lighting throughout. The forward section of the boat is given over to the master cabin with en suite heads compartment. Double berth to port with hanging lockers and storage to starboard. Forward of the berth is the en-suite heads with RM69 marine toilet, wash basin and pull out shower head. Teak grating to heads floor. A Eumenia washing machine is also located in the heads. Accessed through the forward heads, as well as through a forward deck hatch, is a storage/workshop area giving access to retractable bow thruster, windlass motor and Aquabase 220v watermaker (winterised in 2010 and not used since). To port, opposite the galley, a large U-shaped saloon seating area surrounds a double drop leaf saloon table. The navigation area is aft of the saloon seating. The large aft facing chart table is surrounded by 12v switch panels, gauges and navigation equipment including radar, GPS, PC screen and VHF. The linear galley to starboard consists of an Eno two burner gas stove with oven, double stainless steel galley sinks with pressurised hot and cold water supply and manual foot pump supply. Isotherm keel cooled 12v fridge. Plentiful stowage and work surface. Comprehensive kitchen equipment, cutlery, etc. Aft of the galley to starboard is the day heads with RM69 marine toilet, wash basin and pull out shower. Teak grating to floor.
