2000 Marten 60

The IMOCA 60 “Kingfisher”, designed by Owen Clarke and built by Marten Yachts in New Zealand in 2000, is a proven offshore racing yacht with an outstanding pedigree including multiple round-the-world participations. The yacht underwent a major refit in 2020 focused on performance optimisation and reliability. Key upgrades included the installation of a new Lombardini engine, ballast modifications, cockpit improvements, servicing of the keel, jacks and hydraulics, and the removal of the original daggerboards. Electronics were upgraded to the latest-generation B&G H5000 system and the hull was completely sanded and repainted, resulting in an approximate weight reduction of 800 kg.
