‘Koa’ is a 1991 Amel Santorin Ketch. She sailed from Martinique to the west coast of France in 2024, crossing the Atlantic without issue, and is now ready for a new owner to begin her next chapter. Essential winterisation was carried out in 2024, and she has been laid up ashore since. Some maintenance is required, along with work on systems, to ensure she is fully prepared to return to sea. She will need a new Genoa, alongside a Mizzen. Significant upgrades have been made to the vessel, including the installation of Starlink satellite internet, a reinforced mainsail, partial rigging replacement, and three coats of copper-infused antifouling.
