Build number 349 and originally launched as ‘BLUE QUETZAL’, BLUE CACAO was substantially refitted in 2006 and has benefitted from many further updates in recent seasons. Perfect for short-handed bluewater adventures with or without crew, BLUE CACAO features a comfortable and well-protected central deckhouse with helm station and a further sailing helm position aft. Her powerful Rondal cutter rig is easily managed via hydraulics which also extend to her Lewmar winch package. Tender stowage is on the foredeck, while at the stern, BLUE CACAO features a fantastic hydraulic fold-out bathing platform and folding passarelle. Manoeuvring is dealt with via her 6-cylinder Perkins Sabre engine with Hundested variable pitch propeller and her hydraulic retractable bowthruster.
