This Contest 38S “INUK” was refitted by a Dutch couple in preparation for their trans-Atlantic crossing in 2022. New standing rigging, a life raft, and a new mainsail and jib were among the many upgrades completed prior to their crossing. In mid-2023 they sold INUK to her current owner, who undertook over $20k of upgrades and modifications including new air conditioning, a new headsail, modifying the mainsail to accommodate full battens, as well as rigging modifications to enable the skipper to raise the mainsail from the cockpit.
