Marketing Description Wakiva III, a Carter 30 with a lovely history. Built by Northshore Yachts in 1985 and fitted out by the first owner to a high standard for his own use. The Carter 30 was designed by Dick Carter based on his original racing design but later adjusted for a fully-fitted interior. She is a good fast cruiser with excellent handling. A two owner boat this vessel has been well cared for during its lifetime. Northshore Yachts built the first batch as racers, with a large cockpit and bigger sailplan, but when racing success dried up, the company produced a second version with a smaller cockpit, less sail area and a fully-fitted interior with a conventional but effective five-berth layout.
