1981 Wauquiez Gladiateur

The Gladiateur is a well designed and strongly built yacht from the yard of Henri Wauquiez. This particular example PRETEXTE has had an extensive refit during late 2025 and early 2026 which includes new upholstery and she in outstanding condition for her age. Prior to her recent cosmetic refit the previous owner installed a new engine, standing rigging, sails, an efficient fridge and a new toilet. This was all done over the last five years and had almost no use at all, the engine for example has less than 100 hours logged and the sails are as new. Pretexte has a very extensive inventory and is ready to step aboard and go cruising. Forward cabin with V berths with infill cushion to make a double bunk if required. Roof hatch and under bunk storage, door leading aft to the toilet compartment which has a new toilet recently fitted and running water. Sliding door leading through to the saloon which has a bench settee to starboard and a U shaped settee to port which converts into a double. There is a hatch above the table and a central companionway with engine access, wet locker and quarter berth to port. All upholstery in the saloon is brand new and never been used. Raymarine ST 60 wind instruments and Tri data log recently fitted and calibrated Comar Chart Plotter with charts for Mediterranean coasts of Spain and France AIS system displayed on chart plotter. Navigation equipment including parallel rule, dividers, plotter, charts rubbers pencils etc. Switch panel above engine with voltmeters and ammeters 12 volt socket for searchlight.
