The Medway was built to provide better sailing performance than its centre-cockpit siblings while maintaining the sturdy GRP construction and high interior volume that Westerly boats were famous for. This example has a modern engine and was renovated in 2020: new rigging, new fuel tank, new wiring, new sea-cocks. This example is registered on the Irish Shipping Registry. Assymetric spinnaker with snuffer in fair condition Raymarine VHF at chart table with mast mounted antenna. NASA marine wind speed/direction. NASA Marine depth sounder. All wiring and switchgear replaced 2020. 2 of 100 Amp hour AGM leisure batteries fitted.2020 . 2 of 100W solar panels and Victron MPPT controller fitted 2025 . All thru hulls and seacocks replaced 2020 (Italian bronze). Existing stainless water tank (150 litre) refurbished and inspection hatches added. All piping replaced.
